Free spaces for artists! The goal of Art Common is to provide Winnipeg's artistic community with spaces free from financial barrier for creation/rehearsal and meetings. From September to May, our Gendis Studio is available at different times for free booking during the hours of 10-6, Monday to Friday.

The 2024 Recipient - Tanner Manson

The Cherry Karpyshin Arts Management Prize is  awarded annually to a Manitoban, early-career, or aspiring arts manager. Along with recognition and encouragement from Prairie Theatre Exchange’s leadership, the recipient will also be awarded $2,500 to support the advancement of their career and propel them on their professional journey through the arts.

NEW - Indoor Bike Parking

PTE now has a permanent bike rack INSIDE the lobby. Lobby doors are kept locked until just before a performance, when an usher is next to the rack. Whether you're attending a performance or visiting PTE for any purpose, your bike will be secure and warm.

Echo Theatre is an artist driven company with a diverse production history focusing on creating and producing opportunities for artists to explore and practice theatre arts in various styles from Shakespeare, to horror theatre, to contemporary, and even children's theatre. Echo Theatre is run by Metis/Belgian Artistic Producer Charlene Van Buekenhout.
