Acclaimed Siminovitch Prize-Winning Director
kicks off PTE School’s 07/08 Talent Talks Series
WINNIPEG October 25, 2007 –Jillian Keiley, winner of the prestigious Siminovitch Prize (2004), and director of the internationally touted Tempting Providence will be the first featured speaker for the Prairie Theatre Exchange School’s 2007-08 Talent Talks speakers series. 
 
The renowned Newfoundland director will visit Winnipeg in November for the start of Tempting Providence - a Production of Theatre Newfoundland Labrador- as the next play of the PTE season (November 14 – December 2, 2007).
 
“It’s a tremendous honour to have Jillian on hand as we start the run of her celebrated play on the PTE stage. This is a unique opportunity for the local theatre community and theatre-going public to gain first-hand access to Ms. Keiley’s insight and experience as an accomplished Canadian director ” says PTE School and Community Programs Director, John B. Lowe.
  
Open to the public, the Talent Talks session with Keiley is scheduled for Monday, November 12, 2007, from 7:30 – 9:30pm in the Colin Jackson Studio at Prairie Theatre Exchange, 3rd Floor, Portage Place Mall. (General Admission: $10 Students & Subscribers: $5 )
 
Members of the audience will be welcome to pose questions and participate in a discussion and informal theatre workshop with Ms. Keiley. The session will be facilitated by PTE Artistic Director, Robert Metcalfe.
