THE ROAD TO STARDOM IS PAVED WITH COUNTRY MUSIC
Country music sensation Lucille Starr, born in St. Boniface, rose to fame in the 60s -- the first female Canadian to sell a million records. Then she lost it all at the hands of her no-account husband. Back to You finds Starr backstage at her comeback concert, recalling the night she was pushed onstage with only three guitar chords in her musical vocabulary. This jukebox musical, full of hurtin' country songs, traces Lucille's early career and triumphant comeback - the moving, true story of a made-in-Manitoba legend.

"A sparkling cast, delicious singing, and a tight band make this show a treat even for those of us allergic to country music....Think Ike and Tina Turner, country-style."
