Long Play
In this wide-ranging essay, Lara Rae speaks on her lifelong fascination with the passage of time in art. Drawing from the work of Gertrude Stein and famously verbose playwrights like O'Neil and Ibsen, Lara argues reasonably briefly on the creative and spiritual importance of long works in art especially during this time of short attention spans and tedious lockdowns.
