Family show on tour

Bring the experience of live theatre to your community or school!

Prairie Theatre Exchange has a long and proud tradition of bringing live theatre to children throughout our province. For thousands of Manitoba children, a PTE show has been their first experience of the joy generated by a live performance – more than 17,000 children see PTE in their home communities each year, including dozens of schools in Winnipeg and surrounding communities, and as far north as Gillam and Leaf Rapids. Prairie Theatre Exchange breaks down the barriers surrounding “the arts” by bringing the arts to the audiences in their own communities – an experience that can have a profound effect on how a child views his or her world.

For 2020-2021:

Based on the story by Robert Munsch, Adapted by Alissa Watson

For more than 30 years, Prairie Theatre Exchange has been bringing the indelible and charismatic characters of Robert Munsch to vibrant life on stage. In 2021, we are excited to be able to present Mr. Munsch's very first published story, Mud Puddle,as a full-length, 50-minute production full of fun and energy. Get ready for a wild romp between a fresh air-loving girl and an adventurous mud puddle.
