Munscha Meeya

based on stories by Robert Munsch; adapted by Debbie Patterson
December 19, 2009 - January 03, 2010

Here we go again!  Prairie Theatre Exchange continues a Holiday season tradition of bringing the indelible and charismatic characters of Robert Munsch to vibrant life on the stage.  This year, we’ll be pushing the bounds of music and Munsch, with lots of high-octane energy and loads of laughs.  Five stories from Canada’s most beloved children’s author – old favourites like Stephanie's Ponytail, Jonathan Cleaned Up - Then He Heard a Sound and Aaron's Hair, and new ones like Down the Drain and Sandcastle Contest– will captivate audiences, young and old, and have them singing along.

Choose from a variety of assigned seating and rush seating shows. Check out our Pajama Parties – early evening performances followed by cookies and milk afterwards.

NEW THIS YEAR:  Only for the Saturday, December 19 shows at 1 & 3 pm all tickets $5.  SORRY -- BOTH SHOWS SOLD OUT.

Family Four-Packs:  $40 (assigned seating shows)
                                  $32 (rush seating shows)

Did you know…
each year, once the production has completed its run on the Mainstage, the actors take the stories on the road to students at schools in Winnipeg, and all over Manitoba?  Through this outreach to the Province, this production will be seen by 17,000 students and adults from Lynn Lake to Altona.
