Take one theatre company with a multitude of spaces. Mix in some stellar local restaurants and add in a bunch of local producers of specialty foods and treats. Top it up with fabulous wines – and you end up with PTE Pairings, back for an ninth year, due to popular demand.

The best part about PTE’s take on wine tasting is the intimate size. We limit the attendance to about 200 people max, and those people are spread out through two floors, several rooms and the lobby. That means that there are no line-ups. No one elbowing past you. And lots of time to meander to all the food and wine stations, savoring everything and enjoying some conversation .

This year, you'll see some of the favourite restaurants from previous years, including Clementine Café, The Gates on Roblin, VG Restaurant & Lounge at The Fairmont, The Cornerstone,  High Tea Bakery, Prairie Oils & Vinegars, flora & farmer, Dead Horse Cider, and Melt Chocolate Co. We’re also excited to welcome some new faces and taste sensations, including Fort Gibraltar, Patent 5 Distillery, Shawarma Khan, Cocoabeans Bakeshop, Kevin's Bistro, Stella's Catering, Wall Street Slice, and Loaf & Honey.

Each restaurant and producer will have its own station throughout PTE’s huge facility, so you’ll be able to wander through areas you may have never seen before, including the Rehearsal Hall, Student Lounge and teaching studios. With each restaurant, Kenaston Wine Market will set up premium pours from wines carefully selected to enhance the food.
