A MESSAGE FROM ANN HODGES, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

When I gather with friends, we talk - a lot. Sometimes we talk about current events, but often we need an escape and a good laugh. Sometimes we share stories to figure out something, and sometimes we dream. Always, after sharing time with each other, we are glad we got together.

In putting together my first season I’ve been thinking about you, our audiences, a lot, and about Prairie Theatre Exchange — where we’ve come from, and where we are going. And I’ve been thinking about the kinds of conversations I like to have with friends.

That’s what this season is about. This season will give you the balm of laughter, the comfort of a warm hug, the vigour of a stimulating discussion. Together we will travel to worlds far away, and into the deepest reaches of our own souls. These stories will bring us together and remind us that we’re not alone.

Most of all, each of the plays this season will make you glad we shared time – together at PTE, seeing live theatre.

Join us as we move forward into a new chapter of this wonderful theatre – with a season of terrific stories, shared, together.
