An interactive workshop delving into considerations and best practices for producing for public space contexts. Nanni will delve into examples from past presentations in alleyways, libraries, parks, subway stations, and street intersections, as well as work with participants on their own unique ideas for indoor, outdoor, and online public spaces.

Before the Class: If possible, please provide at least a week in advance, a list of three public spaces of interest to you for performance (it can be a place you'd like to produce work in or somewhere you've seen work in). You can be specific (i.e. provide a name and address of a space), or general (i.e: 'a park,' or 'a library.')

Ideally, wherever you're taking the workshop from, you will have access to a window with a good view of the outdoors, or are able to step outside for part of the workshop as part of an exercise.
