Volunteer for PTE!

Support the work that PTE does by volunteering at performances and behind the scenes.

Volunteers are the wind beneath our wings! It would literally be impossible to run a performance without them.

For each performance in a run, PTE relies on up to 12 volunteers in 7 different roles. Generally, the shifts range from about 90 minutes to three hours.

Lounge Server/Cashier

PTE tries to maintain a crew of three for each performance: two servers and one cashier. By law, all those who serve or sell alcohol must have a Smart Choices certificate, which is an online course through Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries consisting of a number of modules and which takes about four hours to complete. It can be completed over a period of days. The cost is $25, which PTE will reimburse, and the certificate is valid for five years.

Shift:   6:15 – 8:00 pm (9:00 pm when the show has an intermission)
            12:45 – 2:30 pm (3:30 pm when the show has an intermission)

We also occasionally need volunteers during weekdays to help with mailings.
