Event parking (hockey games, concerts, etc.) in the Portage Place parkade is $20.
The regular price on a weekday evening is $7 after 5 pm, $4/hour on weekend days, and $7 after 5pm on weekends.
If you are a single-ticket buyer attending a PTE show on a Jets game/event night, you will be emailed an Access Code that will reduce the $20 fee down to $9, along with a link to the ParkMobile website. It is also accessible on the parkmobile app.
On the ParkMobile website:
- Click the link to the ParkMobile website: https://canadalifecentre.parkmobile.io/ (or you can add the ParkMobile app to your phone from the usual app stores, see below for app instructions). This will take you straight to a landing page for Canada Life Centre events.
- Select the Canada Life Centre event that is happening on the same day as your performance, which then brings you to the parking lot locations page.
- At the top of the locations page is "Filters & Access Codes". Clicking that will bring up a box of options with a space at the bottom to enter the access code. Click APPLY, which will drop the price to $9 under Portage Place in the locations list in the left hand column. Click the Portage Place Reserve button.
- You can check out as a guest or log into ParkMobile if you've set up an account. You will need to enter some basic information and complete the purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email.
And you can do all this BEFORE you even leave the house - up to 3 hours before the performance starts!
The discount will not be an option on the pay machines. It WILL be available on the mobile app.
On the parkmobile app:
- Open the app. At the bottom of the screen, click the RESERVE button.
- In the Search at the top, type "393 Portage Ave". That should put a pin at Portage Place, so that you can see Canada Life Centre on the map. You might have to pull the map over to the left. (TIP: if you’re already here, just use “Current Location”.) Click on Canada Life Centre, which will bring up the list of events.
- Select the Canada Life Centre event that is happening on the same day as your performance, which then brings you to a map of the nearby lots.
- At the top of the map page is "Have Access Code?". Clicking that will bring up a space at the top to enter the access code. Click APPLY, which will drop the price for Portage Place on the map to $9.
- Click on the $9 bubble to finish reserving your parking.
